Reiki

Reiki, (“rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy), is a gentle non-invasive form of natural energy healing techniques which originated in Japan in the early 20th century. A Reiki master uses gentle hand movements and placement on or just above the body with the intention to guide the flow of healthy energy through the client’s body to reduce stress and promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing.

 

What happens during a Reiki session?

 

During a Reiki treatment, you will lie down fully clothed, and the practitioner will gently place their hands on or near different parts of your body. You may experience a warm tingling sensation, and many people report feeling deeply relaxed and peaceful.
